Kids' Profiles - Rhiannon Cook
Three-year-old Rhiannon Cook resides in the Hunter region of NSW and
will be a recipient of funding from the 2009 Kilometres for Kids
event. Rhiannon has quite severe Cerebral Palsy and also requires a
special tube feeding device to help her maintain her nutrition.
Rhiannon has a high level of need and requires assistance to
complete all day-to-day activities. Through the Kilometres for Kids
ride, the John Maclean Foundation will be providing Rhiannon with a new
Seahorse Shower Chair valued at approximately $4,000. Rhiannon and her
family will attend the K4K dinner at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley on
Saturday October 17 to meet the riders and receive her new chair.
