Back to Rider Profiles

Put simply, Stevie P is 'the man'. Steve was the man who developed the Kilometres for Kids brand when the original K4K was conducted from Brisbane to Melbourne. He was instrumental in the development of the event in its formative stages and has continued to be involved in K4K over the years. Steve has been a long term supporter of the John Maclean Foundation and knows his way around a K4K event! Steve will head up this year's ride as the head of the support team and ensure that everything runs according to plan. Oh and by the way, he can ride a bike too! Steve has completed numerous Ironman races around the world and was an alternate on the US Olympic Cycling team for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. All this coupled with the fact that he is a cracking singer and has a voice that is a dead ringer for Joe Cocker which will no doubt keep us entertained at some point! You can support Steve in this year's K4K by making a donation and clicking on the 'Sponsor a Rider' icon below Steve's photo to the left. All donations will go towards providing a better quality of life for young Australian wheelchair users and all donors will receive a tax deductible receipt.
