Back to Rider Profiles

Sydney's Trent Middleton is a first time Kilometres for Kids rider. In recent months Trent has made the transition from commuting cyclist to serious cyclist and now has his sights set on completing the Kilometres for Kids ride this year and racing at Ironman Australia in Port Macquarie in April 2010. Trent competed the Sydney Marathon in September and now has all eyes on the K4K. Trent is an architect in the Sydney CBD and has challenged his colleagues to get behind his fundraising efforts with some additional incentives, which may infact be a little more painful than riding the actual 450 Kilometres throughout the ride. If, by Monday 12th October, the total amount raised reaches $1,000 he will partake in the irrational cycling tradition of leg shaving, $2,000 and he will get his legs 'waxed' and if the total is $3,000 by October 12, he will get his chest waxed aswell. Lets make sure the amount is $3,000!

You can support Trent's efforts by clicking on the 'Support a Rider' icon below Trent's photo to the left or by visiting Trent's MyCause fundraising page at http://www.mycause.com.au/mycause/raise_money/fundraise.php?id=3623. All donations will go towards supporting young Australian wheelchair users and all donors will receive a tax deductible receipt.
